Mallika Sherawat was born as Reema Lamba on January 24th 1981 in Rohtak, Haryana in a conservative Punjabi family. After graduating from Miranda House in Delhi, Mallika joined an airline as an airhostess and got married to pilot Karan Singh Gill. Mallika always wanted to pursue modeling and acting. Mallika divorced her husband and came to Mumbai to try her luck in Bollywood.
